Not only did it not do that, it turned it down a notch. I was expecting Fallout 4 to turn it up a notch. Thought New Vegas' hardcore system was very interesting and fun (having to eat, drink, sleep). Here's my story of why I had to seek out mods for Fallout 4: loved Fallout 3. Setessential 1 – Sets them to be unkillable. Setessential 0 – Allows the NPC to be permanently killed. For example, to remove Deacon's essential status, type help 'Deacon' 4, then use the ID it lists for him in the above command. If the character becomes invisible try not using the Disable command. Make sure you save your game just before the edit so that you can always revert back if needed. I know in Skyrim it's.unequipall., but that. I downloaded a body replacer mod, yet I have no idea how to get NPCs to unequip their clothing. If you want to add it back you have to use the 'additem ' command, and look for the ID's from just use this mod: it makes comapnions clothing removeable and wearable.Posts: 3392 Joined: Tue 8:59 am. Use command 'Removeitem 'That allows you to get rid of companions permanently worn clothing. If you're on PC and not opposed to modding, this is the mod I installed. Why can't I apply it to an outfit that I find aesthetically pleasing? I can already apply it to one of these outfits and get the maximum possible benefits of having the ballistic weave under my armor. Like I said, there really is no issue with being overpowered by being able to apply it to everything.
Here's a full (I think) list of under-armor clothing that leaves ALL armor slots open and can get the ballistic weave.
It bothered me enough that I added a mod to open up basically all clothing items to ballistic weave. I'm not going to have some kind of 'advantage' by wearing an armored BOS Uniform rather than armored fatigues. I can wear the fatigues under my combat armor and have the extra 110 damage resistance from the ballistic weave, but I can't wear an outfit under my combat armor that I actually like the look of and get the same benefits? Like I said.the only difference here is aesthetic. What makes it even worse is that for some reason you can only apply ballistic weave to a few under-armor garments. Personally I prefer the Vault Suit and the BOS Officer's Uniform under my combat armor anyway but I'd love it if the fatigues didn't make me look bloated.
